Al-Salt Jordan

Al-Salt is a city in the Balqa' province of Jordan. It is situated on the ancient route between Amman and Jerusalem, 17 miles west of Amman, on the Balqa plateau nestled between three hills. One of these hills is home to a 13th-century ruined fortress.
